Peter in wrapping up the list of qualities we should grow in as Christians concludes by "adding in Love." Not the feel good thing we often call love. No, Peter calls for us to live out the Supernatural Love of Jesus. . To put His love on display. And the best way we do this is in how respond to those who have hurt us. Are rude, mean or difficult. Peter wrote "Love each other deeply, for love covers a multitude of sins" (I Peter 4:8) We love because Jesus first loved us (1 John 4:19). On Sunday we'll do a deeper dive into how we can love the difficult people. Until then, if this is something you're facing, what can you do? Refuse to Get Your Revenge- leave that to God - Romans 12:17-19 Do good as you have opportunity and speak well of them Luke 6:27 Pray that God would allow you to see them the way He sees you Luke 6:28 Loving difficult people isn't easy because it's not natural.
